Send a prayer request directly our Prayer Team
The community of Grace believes in the power of prayer. It isn't that prayer changes God's mind; it is that prayer changes us, and puts in God's hands that which we cry out for.
The people of Grace would love to pray with you and for you. Whether you are praying for healing or direction, whether you want to offer thanks for something or ask God why things didn't turn out the way you feel they should have, we will pray with you. If you feel you don't have the words to pray, or you feel like your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling, let us say the prayers for you. Publishing prayer requests which are not confidential enables our entire Grace community to join in this ministry.
With COVID-19 still affecting our society and lives, our prayer list has become long. We know that it's sometimes difficult to send updates, and that some prayer needs are ongoing. Ongoing, we will be using the following process in our prayer ministry.
Prayer requests can be sent to us through the link to the right. You can also include your prayer request on your attendance card at Sunday Worship.
Please include:
- Your name
- Your email address, if possible
- Who we are praying for (and how you know that person)
- What the prayer needs are (direction, healing, thanks, etc.)
- Whether the prayer request is confidential
If you submit a name for the prayer list, we ask that you give us an update by the end of each month. Updates should be send through the webform or emailed to office@gracecovina.org. If we don't receive an update, it will be assumed that there is no longer a need for prayer for that specific person or issue, and they will be removed from the prayer list.
If a name or a prayer concern has been removed from the list, it can be resubmitted through the website, on your attendance card, or by emailing office@gracecovina.org. Please let us know if this is a resubmission or a continuing request.
Please let us know, as far as you are able, the reason for the prayer request, especially in the case of a medical condition. If you let us know that a prayer request is confidential, it will not be published in the Sunday bulletin or in church media. Families of those deceased will remain on the prayer list through the end of the month following the prayer request.
We look forward to hearing from our members, and continue to offer prayers for all the families and friends of Grace.
